Paradise birds
On Friday 25 February we spent time with our residents at Hengist Field Care Home making and decorating our very own birds of paradise.
We transformed one of our glass cabinets into a rainforest wonderland and played bird songs in the background as we got creative.
Everybody went all out with different colours and materials to make their birds look fabulous.
Our residents loved being able to be creative and make their own dream birds. They look wonderful!
Donated books
Last week we had a very kind donation of books to our Home – a fantastic selection of biographies and autobiographies of the royal family and famous actors for our residents to read to themselves or be read to.
We’re looking forward to delving into them; who doesn’t like to find out the nitty gritty of the rich and famous?!
