Christmas scents
On Tuesday 14 December we gathered together in our Cherry lounge at Hengist Field Care Home to make our own Christmas decorations.
We had lovely dried fruit slices, cinnamon sticks, pine cones and oranges with cloves to choose from. We added sparkle and a gorgeous essential oil of orange and cinnamon. The room smelt amazing!
With Christmas carols in the background for us to sing along to, we were all getting in the mood for Santa!
Hello to Sue!
We were thrilled that Sue paid us a visit on Tuesday too, to say hello and wish all our residents and staff a merry Christmas.
Sue retired from Hengist Field in February, but she is still a massive part of our family and it was lovely to have her with us again for a little while.
Everyone was overjoyed to see her looking so well and relaxed – retirement clearly suits her!
