On Thursday 11 November (the 11th day of the 11th month), we were joined by the amazingly talented Jasmine at Hengist Field Care Home.
Jasmine is a show singer who specialises in 50s music and we were delighted that she performed her WW2 Show for our ladies and gents, dressed in services uniform.
One of our Activities Team members, Hanna, also dressed up for the occasion and looked fantastic!
All our residents were singing along and waving their Union Jack flags with delight! Everyone got involved and had a chance to shine with our microphone; it made it so special to remember the songs of the era and reminisce of times past.
