Music 4 Health
On Tuesday 14 November the lovely Sharon from Music 4 Health came in to host a session for us at Hengist Field Care Home.
Our Music 4 Health sessions are fortnightly and our residents really enjoy the range of music and love interacting and watching Sharon.
Sharon plays a selection of music and encourages our wonderful residents on our Horsa and Orca communities to join in by playing musical instruments – tambourines, maracas, bells, plus drumsticks to orchestrate the music, which encourages our residents to wave their arms, singalong, tap their feet and clap.
Sharon plays a range of fast ‘get you going‘ music and calm relaxing music, and she also hosts a musical quiz.

Birthday wishes
We wished our lovely Recruitment Officer Lindsey a very happy birthday this week, from all of our team members and residents.
We presented her with some gifts and delicious cupcakes to celebrate the day – many happy returns!
