As the festive season is in full swing, we decided to get some Christmas sweet treats and mulled wine in full flow last week here at Hengist Field Care Home.
On our trolley of delights we had Panettone, Stollen, puff pastry mince pies, mince pies laced with brandy, gingerbread mince pies and Christmas cake slices to name a few – what a festive feast!
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed tasting the delicious treats (and having seconds!), accompanied by a lovely glass of mulled wine. We had Christmas music playing too and lots of festive conversations, with everyone getting in to the Christmas spirit. What bliss!
