We had a lovely afternoon at Hengist Field Care Home this week making glitter poppies ready for our Poppy Tree display.
It was afternoon full of conversation and reminiscence of past Remembrance days and wartime stories.
Here at Hengist Field we are ready for Poppy Day and will wear our poppies with pride.
At the going down of the sun, we will remember them, today, tomorrow and always.
A single poppy has the soul of a thousand heroes and the tears of a million loved ones.
