On Thursday 28 July, we started on the next phase of the Flower Pot Lady we’re creating for our garden here at Hengist Field Care Home.
We painted her face, stuck some gems on as earrings, added laces on her flower pot shoes and decorated her body with brightly coloured flowers.
Our residents had fun choosing the colours, the gems and how she was going to look, with her red lipstick, rosy cheeks and long eyelashes!
Our Activities room was a hive of creativity and we had our residents’ choice of Elvis songs playing in the background, which we enjoyed singing along to.
The next phase will be the finishing touches – we can’t wait to see her finished!
