{"id":234898,"date":"2024-01-16T13:46:07","date_gmt":"2024-01-16T13:46:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hengist-field.nellsar.com\/?p=234898"},"modified":"2024-01-16T13:46:07","modified_gmt":"2024-01-16T13:46:07","slug":"gong-bath-meditation-experience-at-hengist-field-care-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hengist-field.nellsar.com\/gong-bath-meditation-experience-at-hengist-field-care-home\/","title":{"rendered":"Gong Bath meditation experience at Hengist Field Care Home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On Saturday 13 January we welcomed Phillipe to Hengist Field Care Home for a unique meditation experience known as Gong Bath.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As our meditation sessions with Nina are so popular, we decided to try a Gong Bath.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>A Gong Bath (meditation), also known as a &#8216;Sound Bath&#8217; or a &#8216;Sound Massage&#8217;, is a fully clothed, relaxing and blissful experience where you bathe in healing sound waves (no baths involved!). You simply close your eyes and relax.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>We prepared the room with <strong>drapes, low lighting, LED candles, scented diffusers <\/strong>and<strong> starry ceiling projectors<\/strong>, making sure it was warm, calming\u00a0and tranquil.<\/p>\n<p>Phillipe started by explaining the benefits of a Gong Bath, how it can affect people differently and how it can make you feel. He also explained that we must all drink plenty of water as the <strong>vibrations<\/strong> <strong>of the Gongs<\/strong> can dehydrate you. He then guided us through a short <strong>relaxation session<\/strong>, followed by using the Gongs and other instruments.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Gong Bath was a complete success<\/strong> and our residents have already requested for Phillipe to visit us again.<\/p>\n<p><em>Thank you for such a wonderfully soothing session Phillipe \u2013 we&#8217;re looking forward to seeing you again soon. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Saturday 13 January we welcomed Phillipe to Hengist Field Care Home for a unique meditation experience known as Gong Bath.
