{"id":234807,"date":"2023-12-28T11:54:25","date_gmt":"2023-12-28T11:54:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hengist-field.nellsar.com\/?p=234807"},"modified":"2023-12-28T11:54:25","modified_gmt":"2023-12-28T11:54:25","slug":"festive-music-and-pet-therapy-at-hengist-field-care-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hengist-field.nellsar.com\/festive-music-and-pet-therapy-at-hengist-field-care-home\/","title":{"rendered":"Festive music and Pet Therapy at Hengist Field Care Home"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Music with Rob T<\/h2>\n<p><strong>We enjoyed a fantastic fun-filled afternoon on Monday 18 December, when Rob T came in to sing for our residents at Hengist Field Care Home.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rob sang a selection of classic hits and <strong>Christmas songs<\/strong>, encouraging our residents to clap, wave their arms, tap their feet and of course sing along.<\/p>\n<p><em>Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves \u2013 thank you Rob for another brilliant afternoon!<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Pet Therapy fun<\/h2>\n<p>On Tuesday, during our <strong>Coffee Morning<\/strong>, we had a very spritely furry visitor! His name was <strong>Miles, a wonderful Cocker Spaniel<\/strong>, who is being trained to become a Pet Therapy dog.<\/p>\n<p>He belongs to our receptionist Julie\u2019s daughter Vicky who brought him in to spend time with our residents. He was so well behaved, loved by everyone and brought so many smiles. <em>What a lovely morning!<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Scott Elvis<\/h2>\n<p>In the afternoon we had a terrific time when Scott Elvis came to perform for our ladies and gents.<\/p>\n<p>Scott sang <strong>a variety of Elvis songs as well as Elvis Christmas songs of course<\/strong>. As always, he went down a storm, especially with our ladies!
