{"id":234616,"date":"2023-11-14T19:29:40","date_gmt":"2023-11-14T19:29:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hengist-field.nellsar.com\/?p=234616"},"modified":"2023-11-14T19:29:40","modified_gmt":"2023-11-14T19:29:40","slug":"special-presentation-for-resident-betty-at-hengist-field-care-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hengist-field.nellsar.com\/special-presentation-for-resident-betty-at-hengist-field-care-home\/","title":{"rendered":"Special presentation for resident Betty at Hengist Field Care Home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On Monday 13 November at Hengist Field Care Home we made a special presentation and gave a huge &#8216;Thank you&#8217; to our lovely resident Betty for her creativity and kindness at our Home.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One of <strong>Betty&#8217;s hobbies is making cards<\/strong> for birthdays, Christmas, weddings, anniversaries and graduations, in fact any requests for any occasions, and they are really beautiful.<\/p>\n<p>Betty sells her cards here at Hengist Field, to our team member, residents, relatives and visitors and they have become very well known.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Being the kind-hearted person that Betty is, with the money she makes from her card sales, she always <strong>donates a percentage to our Residents&#8217; Fund<\/strong>. She has also been <strong>making very pretty poppies<\/strong>, and with the proceeds from her poppy sales, <strong>Betty sent a \u00a360 donation to The Royal British Legion<\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Our Home Manager Neli made the <strong>presentation with a speech and a gorgeous bouquet of flowers to say thank you to Betty<\/strong>.
