{"id":234213,"date":"2023-08-21T15:22:30","date_gmt":"2023-08-21T15:22:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hengist-field.nellsar.com\/?p=234213"},"modified":"2023-08-21T15:22:30","modified_gmt":"2023-08-21T15:22:30","slug":"hengist-field-care-home-residents-enjoy-a-posh-coffee-morning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hengist-field.nellsar.com\/hengist-field-care-home-residents-enjoy-a-posh-coffee-morning\/","title":{"rendered":"Hengist Field Care Home residents enjoy a posh Coffee Morning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Our residents loved the Coffee Morning we hosted here at Hengist Field Care Home on Friday 18 August, as we went all out to make it &#8216;posh&#8217;, with china cups and saucers, tea made in a china teapot and coffee made in a pot too.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We had cubes of sugar and our Activities Team members dressed in little <strong>white aprons and white mop caps<\/strong> to serve our residents and to add to the atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>We <strong>chatted about etiquette<\/strong>, how you should stir you tea \u2013 not round and round but to and fro, from one side of the cup to the other! We laughed and chatted about sticking our little fingers out while sipping our tea.<\/p>\n<p>Our Chef made some<strong>\u00a0cakes and muffins with delicious flavours including coffee and walnut, blueberry and chocolate orange<\/strong>.
