The crackling of logs on an open fire gave him the idea for the explosive mechanism, called the snap!<\/p>\n<p>Everyone enjoyed <strong>pulling crackers<\/strong>, putting their <strong>hats<\/strong> on, reading the <strong>jokes<\/strong> and talking about the little <strong>gifts<\/strong> inside, which seemed to spark lots of wonderful childhood memories.<\/p>\n<p>Our residents enjoyed lots of laughter and group conversation \u2013 it&#8217;s wonderful to feel the festive vibe in our <strong>Home<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We enjoyed a lovely afternoon in our lounge this week, chatting, pulling Christmas crackers and reminiscing about past fond memories here at Hengist Field Care Home.
