We had a wonderful morning on Friday 21 May at Hengist Field Care Home, when one of our lovely Housekeepers, Ellie, brought in her pet hamster named Bruno.
All our residents were given the chance to touch, hold or watch Bruno as Ellie and a member of our Recreation and Well-Being Team took him around our Home to visit residents in their rooms and our communal lounges.
Bruno is a very welcome addition to our list of friendly pets that visit our residents to brighten up their day when we have Pet Therapy sessions.
We would like to thank Ellie very much for letting us share her treasured and much-loved pet!

Our residents have enjoyed getting creative recently – painting French flags in preparation for our Nellsar Cruise stop in France next month.
Two of our ladies also enjoyed getting their nails painted with pretty colours. They love being pampered!
