We enjoyed a beautiful sunny day celebrating VE Day with Miss Holiday Swing (Holly) who came and sang for our residents at Hengist Field Care Home.
Everyone sat in our garden in the sunshine and had a lovely time listening and singing along to Holly’s music. She performed some wonderful old time songs including ‘The White Cliffs of Dover’, ‘We’ll Meet Again’, ‘Land of Hope and Glory’ and many more.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon, singing, socialising and reminiscing together.
