On Friday 14 February, Valentine’s Day, we arranged a lovely afternoon for our residents at Hengist Field Care Home, with singer Kevin Walsh coming in to sing for everyone.
Kevin sang a wonderful repertoire of songs from the 50s, 60s and 70s – and of course a few love songs popped in there for Valentine’s Day!
Kevin has a great singing voice and also a wonderful way with people; he’s proving to be a big hit with our residents here at Hengist Field!
As part of the special day, we also had a lovely afternoon tea made by our kitchen team, complete with love heart sandwiches, love heart biscuits and delicious cupcakes. A real Valentine’s treat!
