All of our lovely lady residents here at Hengist Field Care Home received a wonderful bunch of daffodils for Mother’s Day on Sunday 27 March, kindly donated by local children connected to the NET Church.
They were dropped off by Kelly who attends the church and used to be a Carer at our Home.
As part of our Mother’s Day celebrations, we decorated our dinner table on our Horsa Unit, so some of our ladies could receive their daffodils when they enjoyed their Mother’s Day dinner.
Many of our ladies also received gifts and flowers from their families which we delivered to them on Mother’s Day morning. We loved seeing all their smiles!
