Our resident Eileen at Hengist Field Care Home feels very passionate about her idol, Formula One racing driver Lewis Hamilton.
We would have loved for her to meet him in person, but as that isn’t possible with his busy schedule, we did the next best thing!
Using cardboard boxes from deliveries to our Home and their own resources and free time, our amazing Recreation and Well-Being Team printed, laminated and cut out a life size cardboard cut-out of Lewis to gift to our dear Eileen!
She was completely overwhelmed to see Lewis arrive in her room and her first reaction was to give him a BIG kiss!
We are proud to say our caring and dedicated Hengist Field Team has turned Eileen’s dreams into a reality – and she can now wake up to Lewis Hamilton everyday and always!
