On Monday 2 September a group of our residents from Hengist Field Care Home, together with our Recreation and Well-being Champions Jackie and Jacqui, took a lovely boat trip on the ‘Kentish Lady’ and enjoyed a fish and chip lunch on board.
Our residents could not compliment the day enough, saying how relaxing it was and how beautiful the scenery was along the route. They saw Oasthouses, other boats along the river and lots of beautiful wildlife, including swans and dragonflies. They even managed to glimpse a kingfisher during the trip!
What a relaxing way to spend a day – we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
