What a great couple of afternoons we’ve had here at Hengist Field Care Home recently, with a Karaoke session on Friday 12 August and an ‘Old Time Singalong’ on Monday 15 August in celebration of VJ Day.
On Friday, we had residents’ family members and friends joining in with the singing and we tested out our new microphones. Everyone choose a great selection of songs including ‘Underneath The Arches’ and ‘Roll out the Barrel’.
Then on Monday, song choices included ‘The White Cliffs of Dover’, ‘We’ll Meet Again’, ‘I’ll Be Seeing You’ and a few Abba favourites too.
Everyone had a fantastic time at the musical singalongs!
