Karaoke fun
On Tuesday 4 May we had a fantastic afternoon with our residents and karaoke machine here at Hengist Field Care Field.
Everyone loved singing songs or enjoyed singing along to some of our residents’ favourite choices of tunes – Tom Jones, Engelbert Humperdinck, Elvis Presley, Roger Miller, Bing Crosby and many more!
There were smiles all around, and much foot tapping and arm swaying, as we all enjoyed fabulous songs from the 50s and 60s, and songs from famous musicals. Good times!
Bird feeders
Our ladies and gents have also been busy making bird feeders for our feathered friends who visit our garden.
We used pipe cleaners and threaded on choco rings, glacé cherries, apples and café curls biscuits to create tasty treats!
We’re hoping our feeders will entice birds closer to our windows so everyone can watch them. We all love a bit of bird watching at Hengist Field!
