Last week at Hengist Field Care Home we tried something new… Zumba!
It was Zumba in a ‘Hengist friendly way‘, seated and at a relaxed pace, following instructions from a instructor on the television.
Our residents were able to dance to up-to-date dance tunes without getting out of breath or having to leave the dance floor.
Everybody loved it so much it will become a regular activity in our Home; another enjoyable way to have fun, socialise and get exercise all at the same time!
