The Recreation and Well-Being Team at Hengist Field Care Home were delighted recently to received a Centre of Excellence Plaque from Sam Dondi-Smith, the creator of interactiveMe.
InteractiveMe is a person-centred care tool built around an individual’s favourite music, photos, movies and voice clips, which the staff use with their residents to engage and reminisce with them.
Sam commented;
“Hengist Field have embedded interactiveMe across the Home. They have shown innovative and creative ways of getting the best out of the service, delivering some really outstanding examples of improving residents’ well-being, and involving families.”
