We took some of our residents at Hengist Field Care Home into our courtyard garden to enjoy the sunshine this week.
They had fun exploring the different smells of some of our plants and flowers – our lavender was a particular favourite! Lockdown has certainly made us all appreciate the sights, sounds and scents of nature more and we do love our outdoor space at this time of year.
Our Manager Neli has enjoyed spending time with our residents and treats them all like family, with lots of hugs all around, which everybody loves.
