Everyone at Hengist Field Care Home was in the party mood and ready for our Spanish Fiesta this week, now we have arrived in sunny Spain.
With Spanish music playing, our residents enjoyed some delicious tapas – green and black olives, stuffed sweet chillies, Spanish cold meats and flowing sangria of course!
Everyone had such a lovely afternoon and enjoyed listening to the Spanish tunes.
Everyone wanted to sit in our garden to continue the fun. Our residents were all wrapped up warm and snug to enjoy the sun and we hosted our Spanish quiz and old time singalong outside, with our residents’ choice of songs. A lovely afternoon!
And our first meal since docking in Spain has gone down a treat and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it – especially the churros, which were lovely and sweet!
