On Friday 6 November we held our own Elf Day here at Hengist Field Care Home to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society and spread some Christmas cheer!
We had some wonderful home-baked cakes on offer, made by our lovely relative Lesley, and entertainment was provided in the afternoon by singer Peter Kneebone, who performed a variety of festive songs which our residents and staff really enjoyed.
Our team were dressed as jolly elves and made sure they got around to see everyone, including our residents who could not leave their rooms; they enjoyed the interaction with the elves and it was lovely to see so many smiles!
A great day was had by all and we raised £20 for the charity.
