Our resident Mavis Wilson here at Hengist Field Care Home was delighted to receive a socially distanced visit from her daughter on her 96th birthday last week.
Mavis received some lovely cards and gifts, and beautiful bunch of flowers. She also enjoyed a slice of her specially made birthday cake, decorated with fresh lemon.
Rita Weeks was thrilled to be reunited with her son Ian during a recent visit too – the saying “distance makes the heart grow fonder” is very true!
