Our ladies and gents all enjoyed the horse racing and Grand National in particular on Saturday 10 April here at Hengist Field Care Home.
We made an occasion of it, with delicious homemade cupcakes to enjoy, as well as pints of beer and glasses of sherry and wine.
Our luck was not on our side and we did not have any winners in the house, but we all had great fun ‘studying the form’ and watching the race together, especially with jockey Rachael Blackmore being the first ever female to win the race!
Drinks and cakes all round!
