We were excited to host our Fancy Dress Halloween Day, with an afternoon Tea Party on Thursday 31 October.
Our residents really enjoyed the day and all of our staff dressed up for Halloween (nothing to scary!).
We had ‘Trick or Treat‘ in the morning when our Activities Team went around our rooms and handed out little treats, mini bags of chocolates and sweets for our residents.
In the afternoon our Chefs on the day Kay, Trudy and Miguel, had prepared a lovely afternoon tea of finger sandwiches, cakes and quiche. They crafted a special watermelon punch to look like a spider, which made everyone smile!
Our Recreation and Well-Being Coordinators Jacqui, Debbie, Sue and Karen played games and music in the afternoon to entertain everyone. They also reminisced with our ladies and gents which is always a lovely way to share time together.
A super time was had by all.
