Party time
Residents here at Hengist Field Care Home had a wonderful time on Thursday 23 December at the annual Christmas party. Our ladies and gentlemen sang along to Christmas songs, pulled crackers and enjoyed a lovely spread of sausage rolls, cocktail sausages, king prawns, quiche, Christmas biscuits and much more!
Christmas Eve
And what a fun-packed afternoon we had at Hengist Field on Christmas Eve with a fabulous performance from Ricky La Rue; a dazzling afternoon of music, costumes, dancing and giggles. The amazing Ricky got everyone involved and they were thrilled! Ricky combined Christmas classics and funny stories, and at one point, a dancing hippo!
Who knew how much fun you could have in an afternoon?! We hope you enjoy the pictures! Ricky La Rue is now a firm favourite at Hengist Field and we cant wait to welcome them back.
Pampered for Christmas
Who doesn’t like a before and after picture?! Check out the photos of our lovely residents who enjoyed being pampered before a visit from the big man – Santa. I bet you’ll all agree they look fab! Our lovely Hairdresser Lisa got them all looking neat and tidy for the big day.
There are a few pictures residents that wanted to give us their biggest smiles; when we asked them about how Christmas makes them feel they all had the same reaction – a lovely happy face! It doesn’t matter how old you are – Christmas always brings something to smile about.
Christmas Day
Merry Christmas everyone, from the team at Hengist Field! Everyone was in the festive spirit here on Christmas Day. The residents loved their Christmas presents and thought that the Activities Team looked lovely in their Christmas outfits, as they delivered everyone’s presents. We had Christmas songs playing as went to see each resident, and we had them singing along to the songs!
