Here at Hengist Field Care Home we have lots of great group discussions and recently we had a conversation about ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ and how everyone would feel if they had to eat bugs, which was very funny!
So we decided to put it to the test!
On Monday 13 February we played a game called ‘The Bush Grub Challenge‘. Our residents were asked a question and if they got the answer correct, they got a sweet.
If they got it wrong, they had to spin the dial and see where it landed and eat what it landed on! Locusts, crickets, meal worms, flaked chillies, jelly beans and sweet rice puffs.
It was so funny and some of the faces that were pulled were absolutely hilarious.
