A huge ‘Happy 72nd Birthday’ to our funny and comical resident David, who enjoyed celebrating his special day on Wednesday 6 January here at Hengist Field Care Home.
We sang Happy Birthday to David and put banners up in his room and he received cards and presents throughout the day – and also a surprise socially distanced window visit from his wife, which was lovely to see.
David also enjoyed one of his favourite lagers (Peroni) with a piece of his chocolate-doughnut-style birthday cake – he had a really lovely day.
David also had his picture taken with our new mannequin Eloise – named by our residents – which David found rather amusing!
