Easter was made complete this year by a visit from the Easter Bunny here at Hengist Field Care Home on Thursday 1 April.
We all loved seeing such a jolly visitor who brought gifts of chocolate for everyone, which was such a wonderful treat!
We also enjoyed some delicious hot cross bun tasting, which went down a treat! The flavours we chose included:
- Bramley Apple & Cinnamon
- Luxury Fruited
- Honeycomb
- Chilli & Cheese
- Brioche
- Triple Berry
We also had Gluten Free and Puréed samples to try, so everyone could enjoy the tasting.
Luxury Fruited, Honeycomb and the Bramley Apple & Cinnamon buns came out as favourites overall.
On Easter Monday, there were more treats in store as we wished all our lovely ladies and gents ‘Happy Easter‘ and gave them all an Easter egg or bar of chocolate.
