We love to make our residents happy here at Hengist Field Care Home and ensure their rooms are comfortable and homely.
Recently, we found that our resident David was unable to look out of the window in his room, so we arranged to get a window picture added to the wall beside his bed, so he could have a room with a view.
These little gestures mean so much and David was really happy, saying his new view was ‘great!’
As it was such a success, we are going to add these picture views to other bedrooms, where residents are unable to see out of their windows from their beds. A simple idea, but such an effective one.
