Our residents at Hengist Field Care Home had fun decorating cookies to celebrate St George’s Day on Friday 23 April.
They used red and white icing and did their own version of the George’s Cross, having a great time getting sticky and being able to eat their masterpieces after!
On St George’s Day itself, our residents wore Union Jack hats and waved their flags!
In the afternoon we served a delicious afternoon tea on cake stands – scones with cream and jam, and a wonderful George’s Cross cake too – such a treat!
